| | | | | It has been a long journey through the book of Hebrews. The preacher/writer has dived deep and clarified much about the work and purpose of Christ. But now he calls us to task in some concrete areas of our lives. He calls us to focus our attention on how we live and engage with those around us. How can we do that when things remain difficult and challenges continue to come? We do so with the assurance of who Christ is. Join me as we wrap up this series. |

| | | Who is the greatest? It’s a debate in sports circles, artist circles, fashion circles, and beyond. Even within the Scriptures, these debates are found: is Moses the greatest or is Abraham, is the law the greatest, or is grace even greater? On Sundays through May 11th, we will walk together through the book of Hebrews in a series called “Greater is He.” This book is a letter written to the church in Israel as they struggled to grasp the fullness of God’s victory in Christ. Chapter after chapter, we will see that Jesus is indeed greater than all things, all people, all promises. So join us by reading, worshiping, and being grounded in this eternal truth. Indeed, “Greater is He!” |

| Upcoming Sermon Series
The heart is vital for life. Once your heartbeat stops, life ceases to exist. The Scriptures speak of the heart often, although it isn’t simply the muscle that pumps blood through the body. The “heart” symbolizes the inner person, the source of thoughts, emotions, desires, and will of one’s life. Over the next 5 weeks, we will wrestle with what the Scriptures reveal about our hearts and how God engages and redeems our hearts. Yep, it’s time to do some “Heartwork,” so join us starting May 18th. |

| New Bible Study Begins Sunday, May 18, at 10:30 am
Have you ever found yourself feeling spiritually empty, even while staying busy with all the right activities? If so, you're not alone. Many Christians today live in a world that is activity heavy and relationship light, leaving us unsure of what God truly wants from us and for us.
But this was never God's idea. His desire for us isn't rooted in religion or rule-following—it’s about relationship. A real, authentic connection with Him is the foundation of true spirituality.
Beginning Sunday, May 18, at 10:30 am, we invite you to join us as we launch a new teaching series inspired by an inspiring and practical book that outlines a clear path toward living like Christ. This study is designed to serve as a launching pad for your spiritual journey, offering specific and relevant steps for becoming a Christian who reflects Jesus in everyday life.
Our focus will be on Romans 12, where God gives us a compelling picture of what a believer should look like from the inside out. If you’re ready to move from in to all in—to grow deeper in your faith and live with greater purpose then this series is for you. |

| | Excitement is growing as the 2025 LCMS National Youth Gathering approaches this July! Sixteen youth from Timothy Lutheran Church will attend, joined by dedicated leaders Pastor Ryan Hochgrebe, Julie Storck, Ryan Kuecker, and Carrie Hochgrebe.
This past Sunday, the group came together for a service project, cleaning windows throughout the church as a heartfelt ‘thank you’ for the generous support they’ve received. Over the past three years, $36,000 was donated through First Fruits giving to help fund this life-changing experience for our youth. |
|
|
| The theme for the 2025 Gather is '“Endure,” based on the powerful words of Hebrews 12:1-3: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith…” Please continue to keep our youth and leaders in your prayers as they prepare for this incredible journey of faith and fellowship. |

| | Urgent Need for FaithRoots Volunteers This Summer
As we look forward to the joy and fun of summer, we’re facing a challenge: we are very low on FaithRoots volunteers as we head into summer. With many of our regular volunteers away or taking a little break, your help is more important than ever.
It is important for us to pour into the lives of our kiddos here at Timothy as we continue to grow generation after generation of Christ followers. Please prayerfully consider your gifts and willingness to serve in this way. Without more volunteers, we won’t be able to continue this amazing opportunity for our kiddos to grow in faith each week in the same way. Also be assured we work with individual’s schedules. |
|
|
| If you’re willing to help, or even just want to learn more, please reach out to Pastor Ryan or stop by FaithRoots area on a Sunday morning. Let’s work together to make this a meaningful, faith-filled summer for our kids. |
