WHAT IS CONFIRMATION?

Confirmation is an important part of a young person’s faith journey. It’s a time to grow in your understanding of God’s Word, explore Lutheran Christian beliefs, ask questions, and develop relationships with other Christians.

3-Year Program

Grades 6-8

August - April

Confirmation begins in late August and concludes in April.

Confirmation Formation Process

Here what student will do each year:

WEEKLY VIDEOS

Watch the assigned videos and complete the weekly reflection sheets online.

WEDNESDAY DISCUSSIONS

Attend on-campus discussions and contribute and connect.

ACTS PRAYER JOURNALING AND SOAP JOURNALLING

Students are given a schedule at the beginning of each confirmation season.

SERMON NOTES

Submit a total of 12 sermon notes by March 31.

EARLY COMMUNION

Attend Early Communion classes with a parent, guardian, or mentor by April 1.
