Thank you note from Laura and Mark Meyer We are very thankful for all of the support we have received during our continued journey with cancer. The many cards with encouraging notes, the gift of meals, and the continued prayers mean so much to us and help to lift us up. I am appreciative of the prayer committee/prayer shawl group. I wear my shawl during treatments and feel the Christian love and support of our Timothy family wrapped around me. A special thank you to Pastor Lieb for visiting me at home and sharing God’s word and Holy Communion. We feel very blessed to be a part of the supportive community at Timothy and thank God for each of you.
TLS Spring Program The congregation is invited to enjoy a TLS spring musical program. The elementary school (1st-8th grades) and band students will perform TONIGHT, May 3, at 6:30 pm in the auditorium. Please join us!
TLS Principal Commissioning & Installation The congregation is invited to attend the commissioning & installation of newly rostered TLS Principal Ken Holland during the 10:30 service on Sunday, May 12. Gather Commission will provide refreshments after the second service. We praise God for Ken's service to Timothy in this capacity and pray for many years of blessings for all.
Ladies Book Club All ladies and their friends are invited to the next Ladies Book Club on Thursday, May 9, at 6pm at Novel House for fellowship and discussion about The Golden Girl by Elin Hildebrand. Contact Barb Kalbfleisch (816.807.7575) with questions.
Upcoming events at Concordia Music Conservatory: Join us for a concert featuring the Kleinkinderchor, Kinderchor, Handbell and Guitar Ensembles on Friday, May 10, 6 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Higginsville, MO and the Spring Recital on Saturday, May 11, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Kaeppel Chapel on the campus of Saint Paul Lutheran High School in Concordia, MO. Saint Paul Lutheran High School is seeking a dedicated cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and preparing nutritious meals for high school students. The cook will be responsible for planning menus, preparing meals, and ensuring food safety standards are met. The position does require occasional evening and weekend hours. Pairs & Spares Timothy's Pairs and Spares ministry is open for all ages 55 & older. The monthly gatherings are held at Pointe of Hope on the 3rd Monday of the month 11:30 - 2:00 pm. The next one is scheduled for May 20th.

MO District President Hagan will meet with the committee on May 9th. The Call Committee will meet also on May, 16th to learn about creating the congregational survey. The Lutheran Urban Mission Agency Auxiliary will meet on Wednesday, May 15, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 17200 East 39th St, Independence, MO. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the opening service at 9:30 a.m. The speaker will be from Reconciliation Services. The Mission of the Month collection is personal hygiene items.
