| | | | | Advent Conspiracy: Spend Less
This Christmas as we look to Worship Fully, let's break free from the consumer frenzy and embrace a simpler, more meaningful celebration. By choosing to spend less and focus on what truly matters, we can experience the joy of giving and the peace of knowing that Jesus is the greatest gift of all. Join us as we reject the 'more is better' mentality and embrace a lifestyle that honors God and blesses others. This is more than just an invitation to say no to overspending, this is an invitation to a new way of celebrating.

| | | | At Timothy Lutheran Church, our community is blessed to have dedicated and talented part-time staff members who enrich our worship and fellowship. Two such individuals are Pastor Rod Lindemann and his wife, Miriam Lindemann. Pastor Rod Lindemann Pastor Rod serves faithfully, sharing his pastoral gifts and love for music with the congregation. He plays a vital role in nurturing the spiritual growth of our church, including helping lead Discovery classes. We are profoundly grateful for Pastor Rod’s many years of dedicated service to Timothy, even after his well-earned retirement. Miriam Lindemann As our Worship Arts Minister for Traditional services, Miriam plays a vital role in orchestrating meaningful and uplifting worship experiences. Her dedication to fostering a spirit of reverence and tradition is evident in every hymn and liturgical detail. Beyond her Sunday contributions, Miriam leads a small group on Thursday evenings at Timothy. This group provides a space for fellowship, learning, and spiritual growth, further strengthening our church's sense of community. We are grateful for the Lindemanns' commitment and passion, which greatly enrich the life of Timothy Lutheran Church. Be sure to thank them for their service the next time you see them! |

In November, Timothy members were invited to honor God by donating food to support the Thanksgiving food distribution organized by Jesus El Buen Pastor Lutheran Church in downtown Kansas City. On November 25, these generous donations, totaling an estimated 1,100 pounds, were delivered to Jesus El Buen Pastor Lutheran Church.
Thank you, Timothy donors, for your gracious response to this call to action. Your gifts are a tangible reflection of God’s love in action! |

| | Pictured above are Pastor Juan Zamora and Blanca Andre, who received the donations with heartfelt gratitude. Thanks to Timothy’s outpouring of love and generosity, these contributions helped feed 100 families in Jesus El Buen Pastor Lutheran Church’s community this Thanksgiving. |

| | | | | This Sunday, December 8th, a combined worship experience for the whole Timothy family will start at 10 am. This Christmas musical is a dynamic retelling of the Christmas story divided into four parts: Hope, Love, Peace, and Joy. Each section is packed with an amazing array of familiar carols, culminating in an uplifting celebration of the joy of the season. Thoughtful narration and scripture readings appear between each movement. We hope to see you as we celebrate with our combined choirs and look to worship at a single service this Sunday, at 10 am, cookie reception following. |

| | | December Donations Support the Community Services League
As the Christmas season approaches, Timothy Lutheran Ministries focuses on supporting the Community Services League (CSL) through our December donation drive. All month long, we invite you to join us in giving back to those in need.

|
Donations can be placed in the grocery cart located in the church lobby, just to the right (east) of the south entry doors. Suggested donation lists are available in the cart to guide your contributions. Simply take a list, fill a grocery bag with items, and return it to the same location at your convenience throughout December.
Your generosity helps provide essential support to the Community Services League as they assist individuals and families in need during the holiday season.
Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ through this vital ministry. Blessings to you and your family this Christmas!

Would you like to support TLS while Christmas shopping? Purchase a card at face value thru scrip, and a portion of the proceeds is given back to the school. Pretty cool! If your budget is $450 for Amazon, order an Amazon gift card for $450 from the school to use for placing your order. Going to use gift cards as Christmas presents and stocking stuffers?
