In Acts 4:1-31, we see the Spirit empowering believers to stand together with boldness in the face of opposition. As they pray and unite in faith, God fills their shared space with courage and purpose. This sacred moment reminds us that the Spirit sends us out together to live and speak Christ in the world.

Jesus Christ does not give His Church a vision merely to admire, print, or place on a wall. Through His Word, Baptism, Supper, forgiveness, and Spirit, Christ transforms real people. He gathers us around His gifts, grows us as disciples, opens our hands to give, and sends us to go. Because He has chosen us in Christ and called us His own, we are freed to see vulnerable children, families, and neighbors not as projects but as people to love in His name. Any building Timothy undertakes must therefore remain a servant of that Gospel mission—not a monument to ourselves. Trusting the One who has already gone before us, we move forward together in faith so that more children, families, neighbors, and generations may encounter the transforming grace of Christ. |

Last year, Timothy set a goal of connecting with each other through small group Bible study. As of today, there are ten small groups up and running with over 100 adults involved! Many groups welcome children, so adults, kids, and families are all forming bonds and growing in faith with others in the church. It’s amazing to see God’s work among us! There is nothing like having a church family. Come join the fun! Fall is a perfect time to jump in. Several existing groups have room for new members, and a new group will be starting on Wednesday evenings during Confirmation, led by Kate Kuecker. See the Timothy website for more info. https://timothylutheran.com/timothy-lutheran-small-groups/ or contact the GROW Commission at GROW@timothylutheran.com with questions or ideas. |

Grieving the loss of a loved one can bring a deep sense of sadness that touches every part of life. You may feel overwhelmed, stuck in a fog, or wonder if you will ever feel like yourself again. Perhaps you wish you could avoid the pain or somehow skip ahead to brighter days. These feelings are a natural part of the grieving process. While grief is deeply personal, it is not a journey you have to walk alone. GriefShare offers a welcoming and supportive community where you can connect with others who understand the challenges of loss. Through encouragement, practical insights, and caring conversation, you can find hope and begin taking steps toward healing. Whether your loss is recent or occurred years ago, GriefShare provides a safe, compassionate place to share, listen, and grow alongside others who are traveling a similar path. Join us for Timothy’s GriefShare beginning September 10, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Music Room. We invite you to come as you are and discover comfort, support, and hope for the days ahead. Join us for Oasis on September 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium for an evening of dinner, activities, fellowship, and time spent in God's Word.
Our September theme is "God Calls Us", based on 1 Samuel 3:1-14. In this Scripture, we hear the story of young Samuel, who was confused when God called him three times. Samuel did not yet recognize God's voice or understand the message God was giving him. Like Samuel, we can sometimes wonder if God is speaking to us or what He wants us to hear.
The good news is that we can be confident that God has called us. Through Holy Baptism, God has claimed us as His own children. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, He continues to guide, strengthen, and speak through His Word and through our lives.
Come and explore this important message with us as we gather for faith, fun, and fellowship. We look forward to seeing you there! 😊 |
