Philadelphia was small yet faithful. But the warning is made known- to ignore Christ’s open door is to risk being locked out forever. We are encouraged to hold on to our faith though weak, and cling to His word and trust His promised security. First Reading: Revelation 3:7-13 Gospel Reading: Matthew 28:16-20 |

Worship service theme: What’s it Going to Be?
If you’ve ever seen Sunday School lessons about Jonah usually Jonah walks away with a happily ever after story. But the real Jonah isn’t so stoked. Instead, he takes issue with the kind of God that would be merciful to such awful sinners. And this requires him and us to do some real soul searching. Do we really desire God to be merciful to all?
First Reading: Jonah 4 |

Revelation 1-3: “More Than Good Enough” There are seasons when settling feels safe—even necessary. But Lent invites us to ask deeper questions: Have we settled for “good enough” in our walk with Christ and in the life of the church? Have we grown comfortable with our strengths while ignoring the areas where we struggle or cling to sin? This Lenten series challenges us to move beyond complacency. Through the lens of Jesus’ messages to the seven churches in Revelation, we’ll hear His words of affirmation, correction, and encouragement. Each week, we’ll examine what it means to pursue Jesus wholeheartedly—not just in the areas we excel, but especially in the places we’ve settled. Let’s allow this season to stir us, refine us, and call us to a deeper, more faithful pursuit of Christ—one that refuses to settle for “good enough.” |

Thank you, Timothy family, for your faithful generosity. Whether you give in worship, by mail, or online, your gifts are a blessing and an important part of the ministry we share together. As we continue our focus on Revitalizing Relationships through Sacred Spaces, the GIVE Commission wants to share information about online giving—not as a replacement for traditional giving, but as another helpful option for those who may want to use it. Many members appreciate online giving because it is convenient, flexible, secure, and easy to manage. Recurring online gifts can also help Timothy plan ministry and outreach with greater confidence.
Interested in learning more? The GIVE Commission will offer personal assistance between service this Sunday, March 22. We’ll be happy to answer questions and provide one-on-one setup help. If you would like assistance, please bring your phone and any login/password information you normally use. Thank you for your generosity, trust, and partnership in Timothy’s mission as we continue to gather, grow, give, and go in Jesus’ name. |

Lesson: The Severed Ear (Luke 22:47–52) Life can get hectic, and we all need moments to pause, reconnect, and recharge. That’s why we’re excited to invite you to the next Oasis Family Night on Wednesday, April 8, from 6:00–7:30 PM! This month, our Bible focus will be the powerful moment in Luke 22:47–52, where Jesus heals the servant’s severed ear even amid chaos and betrayal. It’s a striking reminder of His compassion, His refusal to meet violence with violence, and His unwavering commitment to bring healing and restoration—even in the darkest moments. Families will explore this story together as we discover what it means to follow Jesus’ example of grace, peace, and love when life feels tense or overwhelming. Oasis Family Night offers something meaningful for everyone: A free meal and time to enjoy warm, relaxed fellowship Faithbuilding activities for kids to grow, learn, and build friendships An engaging night for confirmands as they continue their journey A welcoming space for adults to dive into God’s Word and find encouragement
Oasis is all about creating a laidback environment where you can find renewal for your soul and reconnect with one another in the middle of a busy week. RSVP today! Click the “Register Here” button or visit our website to sign up so we can plan for food. We can’t wait to share this evening of faith, fellowship, and renewal with you! |

Throughout the month of March, Timothy Lutheran Church is blessed to partner with Community Services League (CSL) as our designated ministry focus. CSL is a vital organization serving individuals and families across Eastern Jackson County by providing food, housing assistance, employment resources, financial coaching, and compassionate support to those in need.
Your generosity this month will directly impact neighbors facing real challenges. Every donation—whether financial contributions, food items, or household essentials—helps CSL continue its mission of restoring stability and hope to local families.
Together, we have the opportunity to share Christ’s love in a meaningful way and strengthen our community. Thank you for your continued partnership and generous spirit as we support Community Services League this March! |
