| I’d love to live in a world where the phrase “no worries” is a reality. And maybe I wish that too much as I say the phrase often. But in this messed up world it is not even close to a reality. Today we are reminded of that as the sheep find themselves in the valley of darkness and death and here’s the thing, there’s no alternate route. How’s the Shepherd going to tend to us sheep in this inevitable situation? Come gather with the flock and find out. |

We all know Psalm 23. It’s a passage that’s been committed to memory by countless people, a passage that brings comfort in times of sorrow, and a refrain often heard at funerals. But is this beloved Psalm just for the dying or those in grief? Or is it for us today, in every circumstance of our lives? September 7th - October 12th, we will explore Psalm 23 and discover how it speaks to us and our lives with Christ. This Psalm isn't just about comfort in our final moments; it’s about finding comfort and guidance in our daily lives. Join us as we take a deep dive into this beloved Psalm and develop a greater understanding of what it truly means to walk with Jesus, our Good Shepherd. |

Are you ready to start your day with purpose? JourneyMen invites you to join a new Bible study through the Book of James beginning Tuesday, October 21, from 6:30–7:30 a.m. We’ll gather at Royal Biscuit in Blue Springs at 15th and 40 Highway, where you can enjoy breakfast and coffee while diving into Scripture.
This study is open to all men who desire to grow stronger in their faith and deepen their relationship with Jesus. James challenges us to live out our faith with wisdom, perseverance, and integrity—truths every man need for daily life. |

Whether you’re a regular in Bible study or just getting started, this is an opportunity to build meaningful connections and start your mornings with encouragement. Bring a friend, come hungry for the Word (and maybe for biscuits and gravy), and discover how God’s Word can reshape your walk.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make last weekend’s Timmy Burger booth a joyful success! From first-time volunteers to those with 30+ years of service, your dedication and energy were truly inspiring. We were blessed to see families serving together, friends teaming up, and smiling faces all around. Your willingness to give your time and talents helped create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflected the heart of our church community. Whether you flipped burgers, greeted guests, or simply showed up with a servant’s heart—you made a difference. We are so grateful for each of you! Let’s continue to serve with joy and love. See you again next year at the Timmy Burger Booth! |

Joe Sauter faithfully serves as Treasurer of the Executive Board at Timothy Lutheran Church, providing diligent financial oversight and trusted guidance to support the church’s leadership. He is married to Sandy Sauter, Timothy’s Contemporary Worship Assistant, and together they are deeply involved in the life and ministry of the church. Joe’s service extends well beyond the boardroom — he assists with Sunday worship, sings in the choir, serves donuts with a smile, and is an active member of the Fall Festival Committee. He also serves on the Go Commission, regularly delivers donations to Hillcrest, and contributes in countless other ways that reflect his heart for ministry and community. |

Timothy's Women of Hope leadership team invites Timothy Church (men & women) to a new opportunity to experience and appreciate God's natural world! We will gather at Burr Oaks Conservation Area in north Blue Springs off Highway 7, one mile west on Park Road, from 4-6:30pm on Thursday, Oct 9, for devotion, fellowship, walking the trail (if desired--wear your walking shoes!), bringing a sack lunch (if desired) to eat at the picnic tables, as well as a special opportunity from 5:30ish-6:30 to learn from Timothy's own Scott Ready, who is an Extension Master Gardener and a volunteer co-coordinator at Burr Oaks. He plans to talk about the native garden in front of the center and discovering the benefits of native plants. It will be a special opportunity to "grow" our friendships, knowledge of native plants & horticulture in general, and humble adoration for God's natural world in our midst. |

Join us for Oasis on Wednesday, October 15, as we gather together for an evening of faith, fellowship, and encouragement. The week’s theme is “Calming the Storm” from Mark 4:35-41, reminding us of Jesus’ power and presence in every circumstance.
We’ll begin with a delicious dinner served at 6:00 p.m., followed by small group time for all ages—children, youth, and adults. Oasis is a time to pause in the middle of the week, connect with one another, and grow in God’s Word.
