The GROW Commission is hard at work to revive small group Bible Studies at Timothy. Small groups will provide a way for each one of us to connect with others in our congregation to read and study God’s Word and GROW in our faith. To do that we begin the process of forming small groups of 8-10 to meet weekly in someone’s home or at church. Groups will begin meeting early next year. During late October and early November, Commission members will be available at a table in the lobby to share more information, answer questions, and gather names of people willing to host, lead, or join a small group. Each of these roles looks a little different. Don’t worry or feel uncertain if you’ve never been part of a small group. It’s fun, easy, and uplifting. As members of God’s family, we’re all on this faith journey together! We can encourage and support each other along the way. Wherever you are in your walk or whatever your skills may be, everyone has something to contribute, and each part is important. Stop by the GROW table after services on Sunday morning or contact Mary Reed for more information. |

Cup Half Full We all face challenges in life, some small but some almost overpowering. When those happen, do we see only the negative aspect of how it affects us? How do we respond? Come ready to hear Nancy Nowiszewski, Timothy's former Care Minister, share challenging times from her own life and how her perspective and reliance on her faith helped her not only survive but see how God used these times to draw her closer to Him. |

This Bible study is a space for dads to grow in faith, connect in brotherhood, and support one another through shared experiences. Whether it's the daily grind or the sacred moments of fatherhood, we're here to walk it together.
Guided by Proverbs 22:6 — "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it" — our mission is clear: to raise up the next generation with intentional, integrity, and a foundation in Christ.
If you're a dad looking for real connection, biblical encouragement, and a community that gets it-this is for you.

| | | | | As the crisp mornings of fall settle in and Thanksgiving approaches, it's time once again for Timothy’s November food drive in support of Jesús El Buen Pastor Lutheran Church in Kansas City. This cherished tradition helps provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need throughout our community. This year, the church anticipates serving approximately 100 families, each receiving a box of food along with a frozen turkey from Harvesters to help fill their tables with gratitude and warmth. 🛒 How to Participate: Donations may be placed in the grocery cart located in the church lobby, just to the right (east) of the south entry doors. Grocery bags with a suggested food list are available in the cart — simply take one (or more), fill it with your donations, and return it to the same location. 📅 Deadline for Donations: Please bring your filled bags no later than Sunday, November 18th. Gary Flandermeyer will be dropping these off November 19th. (Make sure to thank him when you see him. Thank you for your continued support of this vital ministry. Your generosity helps bless not only the families of Jesús El Buen Pastor but also strengthens our shared mission of compassion and care. 🙏 Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful and blessed Thanksgiving season! |
