Thrivent Workshop for Families:
Parents, Kids and Money Matters

Are you looking for ways your kids can learn healthy money habits, other than your individual instruction and mentoring at home?  Thrivent will host a workshop on Thursday, Aug. 19, at 7pm at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 615 SE Todd George Pkwy, Lee’s Summit. The workshop is geared to provide tools for parents to help their kids learn about three important choices they can make with their money: share, save and spend.

• Use the concept of stewardship to teach your kids how to take care of the resources God has entrusted to them.
• Explore four tools to make teaching smart money habits easy and fun for everyone.

Timothy All-Staff Retreat

Timothy’s church and school staff gathered yesterday for an All-Staff Retreat led by Pastor Marty Hasz from the LCMS Missouri District. Much of the discussion centered around the Book of Ephesians to encourage & strengthen others by using the Gospel to build closer relationships.
