Approximate time commitment per week: 6-8 hours prior to blood drive; 12 hours during event weekend

Related Skills/Gifts:   Ability to plan annual theme; communicate with Community Blood Center representative the plans for the event day; determine needs of CBC; plan/prepare complimentary lunch and any gifts given to participants (t-shirts); obtain funds for sponsorship (Thrivent grant)

Duties/Responsibilities:  Plan event with Care Minister and CBC rep 2 months in advance; secure funding from Thrivent; select theme and work to include it on give-away t-shirt and printed promotion pieces; determine lunch menu and purchase ingredients, then prepare; email previous blood drive participants and friends to encourage them to sign up to give blood; work with Care Minister to promote event to Timothy family and the community; set up display of Adam’s photos and blood drive t-shirts in lunch area; set up Timothy’s check-in table with list of registered donors and photos of Adam; be present throughout the day of the event to make sure donors’ needs are met (lunch, prizes, t-shirts)
