As we begin our series we catch a glimpse with John of the glorified Christ—majestic, radiant, and holding the keys of life and death. Jesus is both awe-inspiring and deeply personal, walking among the seven churches, watching, warning, and guiding them. This passage sets the stage for our new series on the seven churches, where we’ll explore Christ’s words to each church. First Reading: Revelation 1:12-20 Gospel Reading: Matthew 18:15-20 |

Join us the this Wednesday February 25th as LWML feeds us a yummy dinner of chicken tenders, potato casserole, jello and dessert. You are invited to join us in the Auditorium for Dining with Jesus, meal (6-6:30 pm) followed by worship (6:30-7:00 pm). Donations from this dinner will support: 10% goes to Mites and 90% to the Mexico Youth Mission Trip.
Worship service theme: One Way. There’s only one way to calm the storm and that is to throw Jonah into the water. They tried countless other tactics, but nothing worked. There was only one option and that is to sacrifice Jonah. The same remains true. The only way out of our pit and despair is via a sacrifice but not ours... First Reading: Jonah 1:7-17

Revelation 1-3: “More Than Good Enough” There are seasons when settling feels safe—even necessary. But Lent invites us to ask deeper questions: Have we settled for “good enough” in our walk with Christ and in the life of the church? Have we grown comfortable with our strengths while ignoring the areas where we struggle or cling to sin? This Lenten series challenges us to move beyond complacency. Through the lens of Jesus’ messages to the seven churches in Revelation, we’ll hear His words of affirmation, correction, and encouragement. Each week, we’ll examine what it means to pursue Jesus wholeheartedly—not just in the areas we excel, but especially in the places we’ve settled. Let’s allow this season to stir us, refine us, and call us to a deeper, more faithful pursuit of Christ—one that refuses to settle for “good enough.” |

As we move into February, Timothy Lutheran invites you to join us in supporting Jesus El Buen Lutheran Church through our monthly “Stock the Cart” collection. This ministry serves families and individuals in need within their community, and our support helps strengthen their outreach and share Christ’s love in very tangible ways.
A list of the most‑needed items is posted on the cart in the lobby. Consider picking up a few essentials—such as non‑perishable food items, hygiene products, or household necessities—during your weekly shopping. Every donation, big or small, helps Jesus El Buen Lutheran Church continue their mission and care for those they serve.
Thank you for helping us make a meaningful impact this month! |
