Celebration Chorus
Singing in the Celebration Chorus is a great opportunity to praise the Lord while leading others to do the same. This choir sings 2-3 times per month in worship and rotates between the Saturday evening service, the three Sanctuary services, and at the Service of Joy. Celebration Chorus rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. beginning August 23. For more information contact Kent Burns 228-5300 kentb@timothylutheran.com.
Sanctuary Choir (adult choir)
Helping to lead worship primarily in Sanctuary services, (occasionally on Saturday evening) this choir prepares anthems for Sunday mornings and special services and has a strong emphasis on fellowship while serving. Sanctuary Choir sings every 3-4 weeks, rehearses from 7:00-8:00 p.m.(in the Sanctuary) on Wednesday evenings. Gayl Calvin 228-4282; gayl.calvin@sbcglobal.net.
Handbells
This group plays every 2-3 weeks in the sanctuary worship services and prepare for a special Wednesday Advent service in December. It rehearses on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary balcony, September thru May. Drama
The drama team is a chance for those who are not necessarily musical to be involved in the Celebration Arts Ministry. Dramatic readings and skits are offered in our worship on a frequent basis in all worship services and musicals. Contact Kent Burns 228-5300 kentb@timothylutheran.com.
Praise Teams
Experienced vcalists and instrumentalists are invited to interview to be on these teams. The teams lead worship on Saturday evening (blended worship) and at the Sunday "Service of Joy" (contemporary worship). Saturday service Worship Teams practice on Saturday evenings from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.; Service of Joy Worship Teams practice Wednesday evenings from 8:00-9:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings from 8:00-9:00 a.m. Contact Kent Burns 228-5300 kentb@timothylutheran.com.
GraceNotes (instrumental ensemble)
This group of instrumentalists prepares music for festival worship services, choir and congregational singing and for special cantata presentations. Rehearsals are scheduled as needed and are coordinated by Kent Burns 228-5300 kentb@timothylutheran.com.
Audio/Visual Technicians
A/V Technicians fill an extremely important role in worship and special events. Sound Techs need to have an ear for good sound and a willingness to learn about sound, acoustics and the equipment involved. Visual Techs need to be familiar with video software and equipment or have a willingness to learn. Group training sessions and meetings are scheduled as needed and at this time are coordinated by Jim Schlichting 690-3200 james.schlichting@comcast.net..
